About YUP Worship WFMC
The story of the YUP Worship Program began on January 8th 2015, when a group of rag-tag, passionate teenagers from Williamston Free Methodist Church decided to come together and start a worship band. As the team began leading worship every Sunday morning for WFMC's Youth services, they slowly grew from simply a worship band into a student-led community worship program: leading worship all across the community, providing students with a family of fellow believers, teaching and growing students in their musical skills, holding community wide worship events, and much more. Today, the team is relentlessly chasing after bringing an authentic heart of worship to both their generation, and the community surrounding them.
Meet The Team
Lauren Proctor
Vocalist
Lauren Proctor has been with YUP Worship since the very beginning, and the team could not be more grateful for her dedication and loyalty. Currently a junior in high school, Lauren has grown leaps and bounds and continues to dominate every single song, whether singing lead or backup. Lauren also provides a helping hand in a lot of the behind-the-scenes work, not to mention keeping Haley sane. She may be one of the most passionate youth you'll ever meet; there isn't a day that we can't count on Lauren to be fighting the good fight.  Lauren's radiant spirit never fails to put a smile on her teammates' faces, and the program benefits greatly from having such a responsible and fun loving leader like Lauren.
Haley Nichols
Vocalist
Haley Nichols, who is currently referring to herself in the third person, is the creator and leader of the YUP Worship Program. The planning process for the band began in November of 2014, and on January 8th 2015, it was official. From then until the present day, Haley has been the spokesperson for the team; coordinating and planning events, connecting with surrounding churches and communities, and doing all of the other tasks that being a team leader entails. Also a junior in high school, Haley most frequently is found singing on the team; but it is not uncommon to find her sitting in for someone on any other instrument in the band as well! Most importantly, Haley loves her YUP Worship family very, very much, and thanks God every day for bringing this family together.
Sean
Cobb
Guitarist
Sean Cobb, our first guitarist and one of the first members of YUP Worship, is another one of our devoted members that the team couldn't live without. Currently a sophomore in high school, Sean has been a champion serving on the team since day one. Not only does he bring an immense amount of talent to the table, but he is always looking to help in any way he can, in any area. Off the team, Sean continues to be a triple threat in music, basketball, and academics. Even in the midst of his busy schedule, Sean has never failed to carry his weight here on the YUP Worship team. Watching Sean break out of his shell and allow himself to be used by The Holy Spirit has been both a blessing and an inspiration to the team, and we can't wait to see how he grows even more in the future!
Jared Rector
Guitarist
Jared Rector, another one of our many sophomores, has been a devoted member of the YUP Worship team since the very beginning. Coming onto the team originally as an unlikely baritone saxaphone player, Jared has allowed himself to be stretched and challenged both musically and spiritually on the team. Over the past two years, the team has had the blessing of discovering Jared's crazy guitar talents alongside him; he's gone from having zero knowledge of the instrument to being able to dominate his role on the team every time he picks it up. Jared's charismatic, clever and irreplaceable personality shines a little extra light on the team, and he NEVER fails to bring his teammates joy, laughter, and unforgetable memories.
Isabelle Flory
Pianist
Isabelle Flory began her story with YUP Worship in January of 2016, and was instantly thrown into a season of chaos as the team was preparing for our first ever worship night, No Fear In Love. Not only did she handle the chaos with such grace, but she also managed to sharpen her piano skills in record-breaking time in order to join the band for the worship night a short 5 weeks later. From that point on, Isabelle never failed to impress the team with her growth both as a musician, and as a believer. When the team first heard that Isabelle would be joining the program, we all knew that we were about to encounter a spiritual powerhouse. And boy, were we right. Though she comes in the sweetest, kindest package, Isabelle has the heart and of a lion. Today, Isabelle courageously sets the tone for the team's spiritual walk, and always pushes us towards success.
Sarah Giovanni
Pianist
Sarah Giovanni, another one of our dedicated members from the original six, is nothing short of talented. Having years of experience under her belt, Sarah is far beyond her years in musical knowledge & never fails to challenge the team to further their skills! Also a member of Trinity Church's worship team, Sarah is working a double-shift; but watching her learn and grow even deeper roots in her faith in both church settings has been quite the blessing for the rest of the team. From day one, Sarah has been an exceptionally self-motivated member of our team, not only musically, but even more so spiritually. No matter the season, Sarah is always chasing after her Heavenly Father, and the rest of the team loves chasing Him right alongside her!
Madeline Bigelow
Vocalist
Madeline Bigelow began her journey with the YUP Worship program as a vocal student underneath Haley back in February of 2015, when she was in the sixth grade. Now gearing up to end her eighth grade year, Madeline has been a part of the YUP Worship band since January of 2016. At such a young age, Madeline has already learned and demonstrated to her teammates that she knows the importance of being a respectful, caring and flexible teammate. She is not only extremely dedicated to fulfilling her role as a vocalist on the team, but is even more so dedicated to her faith and serving those around her. Madeline is one of those people that come once in a blue moon; her heart is genuine and her passion is authentic. We're very lucky to have her for the next four years!
Julia Krueger
Student In Training
Julia Krueger is one of our three students in training here at YUP Worship! She is currently training underneath Haley to sharpen and develop her piano, vocal, and leadership skills. Julia champions a lot of the behind-the-scenes work for the band, but will soon be moving onto her next big assignment in the program. Currently in the sixth grade, Julia plays a big role in a very special project we have coming up, and someday YUP Worship hopes to have her leading the program in the future alongside her sisters-in-Christ, Emma and Elleah!

Emma Reynolds
Student In Training
Emma Reynolds is also one of our students in training alongside Julia and Elleah! Being our eldest student in training, Emma will round out her eighth grade year in June. She is currently training underneath Haley to develop her skills as a pianist, and as a leader as she prepares to tackle YUP Worship's next big project! Emma has also been extremely reliable when it comes to dominating the behind-the-scenes tasks; we can't wait to show the world what light she has to shine when she isn't behind the scenes!
Elleah Berger
Student In Training
Our third Student In Training is Elleah Berger, who is currently learning guitar under the direction of both Sean and Haley. Elleah is currently in the sixth grade, but has already developed a servant's heart at such a young age. She, along with Julia and Emma, is also a big part in YUP Worship's next big project, and we all cannot wait to reveal what we've been working on! Elleah is also working towards leading the program someday alongside Julia and Emma. We couldn't ask for a better trio to take over YUP Worship in the future!
